lol. I gotta replace my foglights, they caught water and blow. So im getting clear ones. Cheap. Rear end gears....DONT TRY THEM YOURESELF YOU'LL SCREW THEM UP... LMAO!!! j/k.
I have 3.73's they are boring. lol. go 4.10! or even 4.30 if you really dont give a crap. ( stick to 3.73 if youre forced induction)
what you will need...Or you will be stuck. .
Pinion gear
Ring gear ( i know it sounds dumb but make sure they are both 3.73 gears. lol)
New crush collar
Pinion nut ( always replace there is a special lock tight on it)
Backlash shims, because god knows you might need them. And you gotta know what youre doing to find out which ones you need)
Pinion shims are not needed most of the time
You need gear oil and posi additive
I recommend pinion seal
also recommend using new lock pin bolt
Also recommend axle sealsThe gear meshing crap, is usless. lol. I use transmission grease. Its a cool blue color and works great.

RE: Gears on the way!
lol. You really like those gears huh. Wait til you get more power and you run out of gear. lol.
Im pretty sure you can get it all at auto zone. Maybe not the lock pin bolt. Go to youre local FORD dealer. Rear end fluid... Well you need to check youre rear end cover for that. you have 1 tag always, that tells you what gears you have, Then if there is another axle tag, it will tell you what kinda fluid and if its synthetic or not.
Is all this avail say at a local parts shop? carquest, discount, autozone? cause don't wanna be halfway through the job and realize i have to order this junk online..
