98 gt emblem removal help!!!
 

Hey i wana remove the gt 4.6 emblems on my fenders. Wondering if anyone has done this on a 98 gt and if there are holes left in the fenders or not. If you have let me know how u did it thanks.

Take a blow dryer and heat up the glue holding your emblems on and work them off using fishing string.

They are only glued on. All youu have to worry about is cleaning the adhesive off. No holes under the emblems.

there are holes underneath! beware! also there are holes under the ford emblem.

Yep, that what I was thinking as well.
There are a couple '95-'98's running around here with no emblems and there are holes behind them for alingment purposes.

wrong.......there is a fatty hole. Its only one hole, but its at least the size of a dime.

EDIT: as for removal....use an old credit card and WD40around the edges and it should eventually come right off.

Thanks to everyone that gave correct feedback. And to the dude that said there werent any holes , try and hold your feedback to yourself if you dont know the answer for sure. Unfortunately i took them off before seeing all of the comments from people that had a clue. Oh well. Just had to reistall them and decide if i wanted to take it to a body shop and pay to really have it done.
