I have an 03 gt automatic and the button thing you push on the shift all of a sudden got extremely hard to push. I have to hold the brake down and push the hell out of it before it will go in so I can shift car out of park. Anyone else ever had this problem?

well, i figured out why it wouldn't engage. My brake lights won't work at all. WTF? My blinkers work, as do my tail lights, just not the brake lights

figured it out. a wire broke loose some kind of way. it is a wire that goes from the fuse box to the pedal
