THere are people on the forums that put s/c on a 130+k engines and haven't had any problems. If I still had my orriginal motor, I would think twice about it. 4.6's are great longevity motors. Taxi cab motors ftw!

I don't like to talk about stuff like this, sometimes when I do, Karma bites me in the *** and it hurts the wallet.
The last time I did that was when I was talking to my brother about my power windows in my '83 T-bird saying how good they were and that the car had almost 100K on her and they never gave me a problem in 3 years, pulling out his driveway the drivers side went down and never went back up.... [:@] [>:]
Another time someone asked me about my exhaust or something and after I talked it up, it let loose on me that afternoon on the way home.
So I don't talk about stuff like that anymore... [8D]

service records, driving habits, maintenance habits etc mean a lot more than miles. There's morons out there that destroy their motors in 40K miles and there's guys out there with 150K on their motors and they run flawlessly.

Wow I got my 2002 GT with 64,000 miles for $11,800, I talked the guy down from $13,000. So I'd say you'd be paying too much.

Wow that car is WAY overpriced.

My GT was loaded with 50k miles and it sold for 12.5k

BTW, it's more about a leakdown/compression test than it is miles to predict the longevity of the motor.
