black stuff
 
i was washing my car yesterday and as i got to the rear of the car i noticed a bunch of black specks on the bumper, tails, and such in the rear. is my car running rich?

so is there any way i can fix it? or should i just get a supercharger to compensate for the extra fuel? (last part was kidding just fyi)

I think you need to lean out your caps lock button a little.

OP - black specs or black soot? maybe you simply ran over some tar or something on the road... I have black specs all over my car sometimes just from the roads.

its soot. there is some specs down on the lower part of the bumper, but thats def rubber or asphault. its definitely soot.

is your pipe offroad? cuz mine is and i get black and brownish around the upper part over the tails
