how do you cut the rear springs? cuz isnt the top flat and the bottom is a smaller coil, how woudl you go about doing it?

anyone know how much 5.0 rear springs will lower my car? I already have 4cyls for the front.. and if I need to cut a coil, how much do I cut and what kinda tool should I use lol
Thats what I was wondering, there doesn't seem to be a "dead coil" so IMO any cutting of the rear spring will result in a change of spring ratio.

I went with the roush racing springs in the rear and the fox 4 in the front. Good weight transfer and a decent (not "in the weeds" though) drop.

lol well that involves spending more money than I already have lol. I have the 5.0 and 4cyl springs in my garage. Just need ss and cc plates. And my 18in wheels :)

But anyway who has cut them lol. Pics maybe?
