i think it cleans up the interior..but everyone is entitled to their own opinions..and btw there are several other "autos" on here that have this mod..there is actually a guy on here that did a how-to or something on it...and the OD button is in my coin delete..its been done before ..and thanks fiad clarifying the subject before i got to it..

BTW, Ford sure did make the dashs better on the newer cars. My 2000 has an old *** dash like from 1990 and up. lol.

I guess its all personal preferences. I like the 2000 GT dash a lot better than the dash on the '05+.

If I am to keep the auto tranny I would do something similar. Not to make it look like a manual but the stock shifter looks like crap.
