Default ok, i found something out today!

Well i have some cobra rims.. knock offs. They was on the car when i bought them. I was having some tires put on, when i saw the sticker on the inside of the wheel say 17X9's.... i just always thought they was still 17X8s. So i was happy to find i had an extra inch. My question is about tire sizes though. The 17X8s came with 245 R45 17's right? Those are the tires i put on my 17X9s. Are they the best size, or should they be bigger for better traction?

THey are a standard oversized size. I would say it's better so your sizes are not staggared for rotations17/9-10.5. Plus they will fit 275's very well and they are probably the most common oversize tire. I have 275's in the front and 315's in the back. I will get about half the life from my tires because I can't rotate. But I look cool so I don't care! lol

lol yeah man. I was wondering cause they looked like the right size for the 9's too. It's funny cause i know a guy with a GT, and he asked me what size wheels those were because my car looked filled out more. I told him 17x8s. He couldn't understand why his car had more room in the wells.
