Whenever i get into 5th gear, i hear a strange noise. it's like a humming but not. it's not nearly deep enough to be coming from my exhaust. it's there when i'm going like 50-60. can't really hear it any other time. just right around there. something i should be getting checked out or is it probably just vibrations somewhere in my car?

Just a shot in the dark cause it could be anything, but how about some badly warped rotors??

i don't think it has anything to do with wear on anything. i only have 8,000 miles on it. thanks for the post though.

i hear that subframe connectors really cut down on vibrations and cabin noise. I doubt highly that it is anything of any importance making the noise

dude your crazy its a 04 take it in on warranty. but dont worry about it they all have bugs that need to be tweaked. ive already took mine in on radio and abs sensor

Mine makes the same noise, it's not bad. You can take it down to the dealership and see what they can do. Supposedly Tremec has a bulletin out for all the 3650's, I just hav'nt taken mine yet. Give it a shot. AIR ASSAULT!!!!
