Couple questions XCal2 related and gears...
Tommarow my buddy is going to help me put my 3.90 gears in my 03 Stg2 Roush. Im still new too all the 4.6 stuff. I bought a XCal2 tuner for when i put my supercharger on, one of the first and most important things is.. to get this speedo to work proper. I pretty much plug in the xcal and find where it says gears or something and change it to 3.90. Easy as that?? Also any recomendations while i have this hooked up to change something else. I Currently have 46K on the motor always run 93 octane. Has 75MMTB and Plenum.. Xpipe, factory Magnaflow exhaust and CAI w/K&N ... Any thing in the tuner i should adjust jus for a bit more HP... Also After i set this the XCAL will save it.. I Belive it can save 2 setups??? Can i constantly change these 2 setups or once its set it is set. And i have to like reset the tuner if i want to change setup again??? Soo for the long post but im trying to learn as much as i can. Plus i have a laptop I can hook up to it aswell.

as far as the custom tuning, I'd suggest having someone send you a tune for that, I'd recommend velocity motorsports justin, he's a cool guy and will work with ya. As for the 93 octane, is your car already sc'd? if it isnt you can run regular, the 93 is just a more expensive gas that burns cleaner with a stock car and costs more. I'll have to check with my xcal 2 when I get off work but if I remember correctly your looking for rear end ratio or something similar to that.
With the xcal whenever you make a change to your stock tune it will save your factory tune in the default position and stay locked to your car and won't work for any other vehicle till you return your car to stock programming. You can keep changing out different tunes all it does it erase the module and upload the new settings. An xcal 2 can hold up to 4 tunes, your stock default tune and 3 diff tunes. With the laptop your gonna need a special program touse your xcal2 to view on your laptop.
