I have a smog check much sooner than I thought so I need to get my secondary air to work.I put a 4v engine from a 97 cobra into a 96 gt. I have acobra ecu and engine wiring harness. I also have the wiringthat goes from the ecu through the fender. The wiring does not match with the wiring for the chassis so until I can find a donor cobra to pull the parts from I need to jimmyrig it so I do not get a CEL for secondary air injection. One of my air injectors is not plugged in and thats why it does notwork. I thought about just disabling the code but that is somthing they make sure is functional. Thank youfor reading.

Move to a state that does not do emissions testing.

LOL sounds good but I like CA.There actually parts of CA without emissions test though.

I hate CA their stupid laws spread all over the nation. Now I can't even smoke in a bar in TN. Health nuts should all die. Sorry rant over

So when they do your smog check they get into the logic of the ECM and see if things are turned off? I thought they only checked to see if you had any codes/ pending codes. I would verify and just have a tuner turn them off. Go here for people that know there stuff about 4V swaps someone might be able to help you. Go to the SVT&DOHC section
