shouldnt be. you may need an impact or a way of locking the pulley and you may need a pulley puller as well... but it will be well worth it for the gains.

Swapping to a 3.17 on the stock Eaton? If so, I've never seen that size.
You will need a puller tool. I bought mine from Pulleyboys.com for relatively cheap, it's good quality too and they give you a few replacement parts just incase it wears or breaks.
My pulley swap went like this, I installed the puller... I handed my GF the 15/16th wrench (I think that's the size) and let her pull off the pulley & install the new pulley while I sat on the cooler and watched.
