i only have 36000 miles. i chose turbo cause it's different from what everyone else does and personally i like them better.so first thing to look into is rods and pistons and possibly port and polsih heads.. what about cams? whats a good cam for boost conditions?

ok, how is 8lbs on a turbo diffrent from 8lbs on a S/C? either way its 8 pounds right, they both force air into the engine so whats the diffrence ......

IMO if you are going with low boost then go with a supercharger, turbocharge it if you are going to do higher boost.

my friend was pushing 412 rwhp on his 04 GT with a KB supercharged and blew the motor. IMO, anyone who wants to push more than 400rwhp needs to get forged internals, because its just a matter of time...

+1
The 4.6 are only good till about 450rwhp then you start breaking things, and one push to hard and crack goes your block or rods, crank, pick b/c its gonna happen.

8lbs from a turbo = BOOM. I've seen it first hand on a perfectly tuned mustang gt. He was only running 406wrhp.
