Pretty sure that the weakest point are the rods. The heads flow terribly too, but not sure if that is what you meant by weak point. If you can get all forged internals, you will be much better off.

you better be running incredibly low boost because the entire rotating assembly on a 2V will get worn out real quick with a turbo.Get yourself a forged assembly or even a new shortblock. 2V motors can take about 400-450rwhp safely stockblock...but from what i've read, the nature of a turbo and the way it creates boost wears down motors much quicker than a conservative supercharger or nitrous setup...
plus like was mentioned before, you want better flowing heads...and ontop of that, a camshaft grind that helps hold and build boost. Stock heads and stock PI cams with a turbocharger will net your disappointing results.
good luck man! A lot of people talk about doinga turbo set up but very few ever follow through with it.

ok thanks guys. yeah im only going to be running 8 lbs. TOPS on a real good tune. i also have a fast wideband dataloger so i can monitor everything. i think the forged internals and a port and polish will be my next investment

i agree with that but i would deffintly try and get some PI heads for it and a new intake the plastic ones suck and if u have high miles i wouldnt boost it and a rotating assembly go to livernoise they have a complete assembly for a 2 valve for if i remember correctly 2500.00
