Cant get crank pulley off HELP!!
Im in the middle of my PI swap right now, and what can I used to hold the pulley inplace while I loosen the bolt!!!

Put it in gear, have somebody stand on the brake and use a big breaker bar.

I tryed putting it in gear, and having someone on the brakes, it didnt work. I ended up borrowing a buddys impact gun and it worked out fine.

your car does have to be a stick shift with a good clutch for that to work.

Yea my car is a 5spd, and it got a King Cobra Clutch in it, but it didnt work either way...when all else fails, use air tools

You should go buy a harmonic damper pulley removal tool. Makes your life SOOOO much easier.

he is talking about removing the crank bolt... not the balancer itself. heh
