my tuner quoted me $1400, which includes a retune. that includes the cams/springs.

Its ridiculously imo to buy and have a shop install cams on a 4v stang! Plan to do it myself, once i start running out of ideas to do to the stang or when it becomes necessary (hp wise)!

If your doin a stage 2 cam which requires valve springs, your lookin at anywhere from 800-1000, plus however much for a retune...

I think cams are a GREAT add-on for our 2V's....

a lot of people say it isnt worth it because it costs so much for a once shot item. However they'll spend 250 on a cold air intake, 200 on underdrive pulleys, 400 on a catback, 400 on a midpipe, and you dont see nearly as much power as you would with cams....

explain that.....

yeah it is a lot of money...but look at your signiture pic.... 4 blackcobra style rims...roughly $600...plus whatever two tires you have on the back that you're melting in your pic 300-400....

but cams are a lot of money?
