Brake Dust?

Brake Dust?
Been hotlapping most weekends and over time I've noticed that the brake dust from hard braking starts to accumulate on the body of the car! What's the best way to get it off? I've tried to wash it but it sort of sticks to the paint. At one point I took a deck brush and tried to clean it off but it can't be very good for the paint to be scrubbing it with a deck brush. Besides, even with a deck brush it still didn't all come off. It gets all over my wheels and even when I try and clean just the wheels with brake cleaner I have to take a metal scraper and scrape off the brake dust that accumulates. I don't think that brake cleaner on the paint would be a very good idea. Any suggestions?

RE: Brake Dust?
Cleaning it is probably going to require a just lot of old fashioned elbow grease, however to minimise it get a set of non-ferrous, ceramic pads. Or at least avoid and semi-metallic pads that a magnet will cling to; a lot of metallic pads (even expensive, brand name pads) use iron powder in the pad and it makes a god-awful mess as you describe...
