I want to put a 2003 Cobra hood on a GT. But a guy on Ebay is selling the hood he just got because he is saying it is a different size than the gt hood he took off.

Has anyone heard about any dimension differences between the two hoods? Just from eyeballing the two models, it doesn't look like there is a difference.

well, they are the same body style but maybe the different front bumper is causing an issue. why don't you send the guy an email and ask him about it.

I've heard that it won't work. Under the hood there are 2 bumpswherethe hoodmeets the bumper in the grill area. This prevents the hood from latching. I've never seen it myself though.

Here is what the guy on ebay said about the hood difference. What do you think?

"I hadn't seen it, but the body shop owner said it was by just a hair. By
the way, he also told me that most people probably wouldn't even notice it.

But, I decided to just leave the regular hood on."
