Default best rear end gears and cam??

i have a 99 gt and i am putting it in storage for the winter. so i figured what better time to do some mods. my question is what is the best rear end gears that will give me a bit more power on take off but still be good for a dd. same qestion for the cam. i cant do a whole lot to the motor as it is still under warentee. but what they dont know wont hurt them. lol. i am also planning to put a set ofudp in also.

good point. lol
btw is there any way to tell if it already has a cam. i have a few buddies with stangs and they swear by the sound of it that it may have a cam. may be a stupid question but i am new at the mustang thing.

dont get 4.10's they will be too rough, thats when you drive 70mph and like 3500 rpm, but they are awesome. Get 3.73s

ok so if im doing about 120 kms (approx 75 miles) what would i rev with 3.73 cause right now when i do 75 im reving a hair above2 grand which sounds sweet. most of my driving is city driving anyway. also if i buy the 4.10 or 3.73 and i dont like them will they fit in a 94 gt. my roomate has one and i can sell them to him and watch his fuel milage go to hell. lol

Just buy 3.73 they are the perfect all around gear. If you can, buy a supercharger then do all the bolt on parts.

yes, as long as its a 8.8.

Is there some reason you beleive your car is gonna have some kind of problems, if your warranty is up in september its not far down the road, especially if you car is parked for winter, i would just do the supercharger now. Unless like i said ur car is having problems, but if the blower kills your car it doenst matter if u do it now or in september.

There is no way you will be at 3500 rpm at 70 mph. I have 4.30's and my car is my daily driver. I can do 80 and turn a bit under 3000 rpm. Unless you have a really short tire, you will be under 2500 with 4.10's at 70 mph.
