it's a high lift xe270 for all intents and purposes. Disregard generic stages. Stages are for those that can't match parts by reading specifications. Your cam will need 3.55:1 gears or better, a higher stall tq converter if you're automatic, and a tune (for idle, timing and fuel delivery) to be properly installed. I'd be pretty worried about PTV with that high lift and the long duration. I'm betting you'll have to advance or retard the cam to keep from hitting the slugs.
Man they're already installed lol. They run great. I was just saying they seem pretty agressive. More agressive than i thought they were.

mine are only .495 lift and they are vt cams too?
You must have stage 3 cams? I talked to Scott from VT about those when I bought my stage 2 cams. He said he backed the lift down quite a bit on the stage 3s from the stage 2s because the duration is so much more.

So ANYWAYS what does this mean on my cams? They ARE custom grinds but are they a lot more agressive than stage 2's or not really . . .

I wouldn't say a "lot" more aggressive but they're a little hotter. Great for FI.

Agressive is a subjective term. Do YOU think they are too agressive? If so why? I would suspect they do not make real power until 3500rpm+ and that is normal for the amount of intake duration you have and that is more the derteriming factor. If you are getting away with the lift that is good. Lift helps acrossthe rpm range.
My cams have 230* intake duration and they are too agressive for me but that is me. I would prefer to make power across the rpm range as it is a street car and not a track car however I have an automatic and after the shifts the revs are at 4300rpm and that is in the cams power range up to 6000rpm+. Botom end is where they hurt so a higher stall converter is going in. I also have an SVO intake which makes power moreso above 4000rpm's. So if I can et the bottom end back with the stall, JLT CAI and dyno tune I will be OK. Otherwise smaller cams will be needed. Maybe Crower stage 2's with low lift, .532"/.532" and 220*/224* duration on 114* LSA's. By the way what are the Lobe Separation Centers on your cams? Under 112* will make for more overlap and a rougher idle.
