Im looking for a good tuner to dyno tune my 98GT. After i do the PI swap and lower end, I would like to get it tuned for the mods. I live in ST.Bernard parish. Looking for any tuners in the area, capable of modifying the pcm. Also having access to a dyno would be nice! A lot of people say that it dont have to be tuned, but with the rise in compression, I think the timing and fuel need to be changed. Otherwise, what other ways could i go about doing this??

Rick's Rods and Perfromance in Lafayette is the only place I know of around here. I was going to call them up and see if they have a dyno. I forgot to look when i was over there. I've heard they have a couple of shops in Baton Rouge but I havn't checked them out.

i believe 2j's toyota lexus specialists inharveyhas a dyno and check with AM racing in slidell.

I live in Slidell and was warned abot AM so I went else where. I went to L&L incovington (wasn't pleased but I'm bring it back for them to fix, I can let you know how it goes).
Here's acouple others, I don't know if they are good or not: Stanghi (in Baton Rouge) and Schreve (I think new orleans)

I suggest you make the trip to Mobile. It's not really that far and James from RWTD is one of the best. He's been tuning for 10 years now. If your interested the number is 251-432-8180. He stays really busy though and can be hell to get on the phone sometimes.

Stang-Hi in Baton Rouge does great work, after I finish the work on my motor and install the KB, my car is headed there to get SCT tuned. http://www.stanghi.com

Also, Shreve Automotive, formerly in Kenner, is closed down. The owner Steve just closed it about a month or so ago. I was gonna bring my car there, but now its Stang-Hi.

I took my car back to L&L and they fixed the tune. it runs like a champ now.
