Default ? about port and polish

ok so first of my neighor has a machine shop and does p/p
so i talked to him and he said he would do my tb and plenum for hella cheap
is it worth it or just leave it alone is it dyno proven to work.
and if so what does it usually cost for that. im in cali i no he will hook me up he is a cool guy

screw the TB & Plenum, have him P/P your heads for hella cheap then put in a sweet cam!

I agree maybe polish the TB. But get the heads done before you P/P the TB

Even a ported stock upper plenum suffers from poor design. Porting it is a lot like trying to make a silk purse from a sow's ear. Just pony up and get a C&L upper or similar taller aftermarket upper and a 70mm Accufab TB (I've tried all the others and Accufab is the only one that was perfect out of the box). P&P the heads and take it off some sweet jumps heheh.

he was telling to today "hey come on man u have a nice car why not port the heads"
i was like thats a good idea..
would u see noticeble difference in porting them or would u have to just by different heads. how much is a good price

Have you been living in a cave. All P&P heads for the modular motors are stock ported heads. $600 to have your heads ported and polished is a good price.
