To answer your question, yea, driving it hard is rougher on it than driving normal. You'd be shocked how much pressure is on your engine and drivetrain when you're pushing it past 5k rpms and banging thru those gears. That's why old ladies have cars that last 40 years and Mustangs get wrapped around trees or blown up. Our Mustangs are not "extra" strong to handle abuse. They are just as breakable as any other car. Screw the car man, don't driveit hard all the time for your own safety and others. As soon as you think you know your car, it'll show you whose boss. Sorry for the lecture man.
