Spin rod bearings, shatter oil pump gears, float valves, overheat it...the list goes on... Just try not to rev the hell out of it for extended periods of time and don't push it past 5800-6000rpm.

[sm=badidea.gif]Just because you have a mustang does not mean you need to go out and try to break it. The car is (or was suppose to be) an eye catcher that just so happened to have the HP to back up the looks. No one likes to drive by some garageand say, "Hey look at that bad *** mustang over there that doesn't run". I don't baby my car, but I sure as hell don't go out each day with the intention of trying to break it.When I was at the track (I'm not going back because i'm boycotting) I would drive it hard, when on the streets cruising, that's what I do until a 4banger chevy cavalier pulls up beside me with that annoying *** fart can for a muffler reving the sh*t out of his car as if he's sitting on 1,000 HP. Then I may apply more right foot just a bit more than usual.
