where can i get a convertible top for my car for a good deal? i looked inside my car today and there was a puddle back where the rear seat would be and the amps are soaked. this really sucks.

ebay has them but honestly it's not a job you'd want to take on by your self if you've never done one. You should find yourself a good local shop. I've replaced my top twice in a year. 720$ the first time and 690 the second time at two different shops. Normaly it's 250-300 for the part and 400-500 for labor.

well the problem with ebay tops or any aftermarket tops are the fit! Some fit nicely and others are just terrible, like they belong on a diff year car. If I were to replace my top I would get ne motors and mechanicals for the top. Much easier to replace with the top out.

RE: convertible top is leaking bad!!!
ive got a friends dad that could do it since he has a body shop and does that work all the time....
ford wants 2100 for the top and there is no way im paying that much for it. i may remove the top and let him put the new one on.... im sure it would be 100 or less in labor... for the top atleast, the car will be going in for paint on the driver quarter panel, hood, and bumper at the same time though.

try www.latemodelrestoration.com and you might not need an entire new top but just the section around the rear window...thats where most of us run into leaks after 7 years or so.
