Stabilizers?

Stabilizers?
I'm lowering my car this weekend and I heard youdont have to use your stabilizers but you might get a little bit more road noise. I was wondering if anybody didn't use their stabilzers and if they had any problems?

RE: Stabilizers?
You dont have to use your isolators, it does make a little bit more noise when you hit a bump. Some people use a thin wrap of electrical tape around the top and bottom coils of the springs to make it a little quieter though. It will give you about a 1/4" more drop if you dont use them. Is there any certain reason why you dont want to put them on back on your new springs?

RE: Stabilizers?
I recommend keeping the isolators, my reasoning is that the rubber provides a buffer from the metal on metal which reduces noise and possibly improves ride quality slightly.
However I will note that many strut assemblies do not have rubber isolators (metal on metal) and they work fine, in fact I believe most coil over assemblies for our cars don't use isolators.
So, Im on the fence on this one now that I think about it.
