Default tire sizing

I have a 02 stang with 18x9 and 18x10 out back. Will nitto 555 255/45/18 and 295/45/18 fit?

They will physically fit on the rim, but they'll look ridiculous on the car. That's WAAAAAAY too much side wall.

DO NOT use any thing bigger than a 35 aspect ratio.

Optimal sizes would be 265/35/18 on the 9 inch and 295/35/18 on the 10.

www.1010tires.com and go to the tire size calculator, that will tell you everything from height to what sizes fit on what width rim, how your speedo will be off etc.

A 295/35 has a sidewall height of 103.25 mm.

A 295/45 has a sidewall height of 132.75 mm.

That's 33% more sidewall. A 1 1/4 inchincrease in vehicle ride height. I know it's hard to imagine, but believe me: It will look ridiculous.

get bfg 265/35/18 up front and 315/30/18 out back. Aspect ratio is VERy close, not noticable to the human eye(2mm difference). Thats what I plan to get when my crappy tires go out
