Default Aftercooler or Intercooler?

Hey, I was wondering if any of you had any ideas.... I have a '02 s/c gt running 9 psi on stock internals that has 34 lb injectors. I am debating whether or not to intercool it or buy a Canton coolant tank. It's similar to Vortech's aftercooler. Does anyone have any idea on what would make more SAFE power? Or have a setup similar to what I have been decribing?

Default RE: Aftercooler or Intercooler?

id recommend an intercooler for the following reasons:

don't have to relocate the battery to the trunk
aftercoolers are prone to heat soak
intercoolers are cheaper if you can DIY
intercoolers are simpler to plumb up
