Default need help buying supercharger

heres what i have

2003 mustang gt manual trans
4.10 ford racing gears
hurst short throw shifter
custom diablo sport predator tune
flowmaster performance exhaust
cold air intake (which will be replaced with superchargers when i buy supercharger)
im 235 at rwhp thats dyno certified

all i want is between 300-310 rwhp

i test drove a 03 cobra and im told there 400hp with factory supercharger and after losses maybe 330 - 340 rwhp and i loved that car but i had bought the gt

im looking at vortech without any aftercooler and want 6 psi..i think that will get me to 300 rwhp with good dyno tune with diablo predator
and im going to be in el paso tx where its cold so i dont think the enviroment will be too much issue so my question is do i need after or intercooler at all? and will 6 psi with good tune get me 300rwhp?

You will be wayyyyyyyy past 300rwhp with any blower. With your mods you would be atleast, the very very least 340rwhp. I've been running without an intercooler for a year and I'm fine. It's all in the tune. You also need a dyno tune not just the crappy tune on the predator. Why do you only want 300rwhp?

well to be honest i was being safe....when i drove the cobra test drive it blew me in the seat and i loved it and when i installed diablo tune i was running lean (didnt know that) and was at 215 rwhp but after the dyno shop messed with air to fuel ratio and tuned everything perfectly i got solid 20 rwhp more for total 235 rwhp and i felt the difference. so ive come to appreciate horsepower more and i thought if 235 was cool then 300 - 310 would be WOW

plus i want to make sure engine/trans can handle it since there stock

i want fun but safe for car in mind and also emmissions friendly

With a good tune and 380rwhp you would be absolutely fine. It's all in the tune

just a lil knowledge from having lived in el paso, its not cold. its windy in the winter and brutally hot in the summer andtons of sand, its the desert man. plus its high altitude. when you go from east side to west side, its a mile high. you need a good tune.

Texas Hot Rods are located in El Paso. Give them a call at 915-593-6225. They helped me a lot when I was picking a supercharger.

If you decide to go with a Procharger call Rodger at (661)399-8999. He can get you a killer deal on one. He's a Procharger dealer. Tell him John sent you and he can hook you up.
