Default Play "Pimp My Ride"!!!

Okay all you Stang experts...time to put all of your knowledge to work
Starting with my completely stock 96GT...you tell me an honest RWHP number I can expect from the following mods done seperately. Bonus if you put them in the order in which they would be most productive. I will take all the responses and average them out to help me decide the order. Keep in mind I don't plan to race my car, nor do I care what it does in the 1/4 mile. I just wanna enjoy driving it. Here we go:

C&L plenum and 75mm TB
FRPP Shorty Headers
H pipe with cats (not sure what brand)
Flowmaster Force II or American Thunder catback
PI lower Intake swap
K&N FIPK
Larger MAF (not sure what size or what kind)
Under Drive Pulleys

Starting at or about 215 flywheel hp... you will lose about 12% through the drivetrain IF its an manual tranny...

PI Swap... about 50hp
Shortie headers... 8hp
Plenum and TB- 15hp
Flowmasters... maybe 3 hp. LOL
FIPK... 10hp
UD pulleys... 8hp.

215 - 12% = 189.2

189.2 + 94 = 283.2 hp

Thats my guess. I may be wrong though.


This is the more correct order though...

PI swap
Headers
Midpipe
Catback
FIPK & MAF
UD pulleys
Plenum and TB

40 series flowmaster is the best sounding i have them on my car and they sound way better than my friends that has pacesetter and my other friend has delta series flowmaster. that is my opinoin and bbk off road h-pipe

I never said anything about you, i just said theres a thousand of these bolt on how much hp threads, and most of the time, the ppl dont even do the mods, i was calling the thread dumb.

haha wow thats hilarious 284 hp huh? Now back to reality and actual dyno results. I have a full PI swap meaning heads, cams, and intake with port and polished heads, densecharger, shortie headers, O/R H-pipe, flowmaster catback, SCT and I put down 243 rwhp 284 rwtq so assuming your 12% drivetrain lose with my manual that would put me at 272 at the flywheel. Yet amazingly enough if he does those mods he will be 12 hp higher than me wow thats quite the feat. Another thing I loved I didn't know the PI intake alone got you 50 hp? Really that is amazing. The highest gains I have ever seen off a PI intake alone is 20 rwhp, and thats being generous. Haha another great one FIPK = 10hp since when did a CAI give you 10 horsepower and a flowmaster catback only gives you 3. Both those mods are equal useless horsepower wise and give about the same gains. According to you if I did a CAI I would gain more than I would if I did shortie headers wow again simple amazing.

DeesGT if you want some real info on your car and what mods will give you what horsepower and what you should do in what order drop me a PM sometime and I will give you some real info.
