Fuel system cleaner testimonial
I put some fuel system cleaner in my tank on Saturday. I changed my fuel filter today and notice HUGE differences in power, engine noise and smoothness.I attritubte it to thecleaner. I noticed differnences in about two days.Taking off in first is smooth as butter, second gear runs longer and harder, she idles almost silently. Even with modds I guess cleaner can make a difference but I think I noticed such a big difference because I don't have any. Anyway, I'm a 1998 Cobra and now I know why I bought the Cobra. You really get what you pay for and this engine, now clean, has not missed a beat in 9 years!

Probably the fuel filter change helped more that the fuel system cleaner.......Lucas oil makes the best one on the market today. They help but the BEST way to get you system clean is to bring it to a shop and let them hook up the canister DIRECTLY to you schrader valve.
Now if you just bought the car...You need to do a tune up on it. You got the fuel filter out the way, now you need to do plugs, air filter, oil change, pcv valve, flush radiator etc. etc. The basic do it yourself tune up will due WONDERS for your car and for your peace of mind.

Not saying that the cleaner didnt help, but I just replaced my fuel filter this past weekend as well. It made a HUGE difference. It is a lot smoother as you were describing. Dont know why I didn't do it sooner, especially running spray.

lol it was changing the fuel filter that did it for you. just changed my friends out and now his car runs like a raped ape. your fuel filter can make your car run like doodoo if its dirty

fuel filter for sure. My Car ran rough and missed on the upper RPMS, even pinged a little. i changed the fuel filter and all problems went away. the fuel in the filter was a nasty brown color.

Hahaha, its true man. the fuel filter is what caused the biggest difference. If you have had NEVER had fuel system cleaner in it, then yeah, it would have helped alittle. I run a bottle about once a month. probably shouldnt but whatever.
