The dash diagnostics is just for the gauges not for anything else in the car.

Hmm.. thought maybe it might have shown fuel pressure as well.

well i'm thinking it's the fuel pump because the symptoms got progressively worse over time. my mileage went from 18 down to 10mpg! [:@]

4.5v. I was a bit off on the pressure readings 27-37psi at idle and 30-50 psi with engine off key on.

on my 99 cobra and my girls 02 v6 you can hold down the button that resets the trip, then turn the key on while still holdin the button and it will tell you speed, tach , fuel pressure....everything all digitally.after you turn the key hold the button untill your needles all go nuts.

[/align][/align]The instrument cluster diag mode doe not display fuel pressure,when it says FUEL it displays the fuel tank level expressedas a number between 0 and 255 where 232+ is full.[/align][/align]It only displays the digital values driving the instruments, and cluster and GEM related DTCs.[/align]
