the trick to reverse in these ****ty trannys is to put it in 4th then put it in reverse....occasionally it still wont go, so i do 1st 4th R .... but if i dont go to 4th before i go to R i have to clutch it for 10 seconds or it will grind

What I don't like is that the seat back doesn't go back far enough. Have you ever tried to sleep or bang in your car? It's a PTA lol... now I know it's a sports car and isn't made for sleeping or fornicating but I would love for the seat back to go back farther. Also my GTs driver seat feels like it's more up in the air (height wise) than my dads V6. The V6's seats feel more sporty. Is that because the power seats are just naturally higher?

As for the reverse thing, I put it into first or third then it slids right into reverse.

Nitti i know what you mean, it is a tight squeeze the best results i have had is just taking her out of the car and bending her over the hood.

well as far as having a chick in it, i just did it yesterday and it was actually ok, probably because she was flexible though, as far as hight goes my 96 gt lowers fairly well, thats not the problem, with me, (and yes i did look into the "2" of space) i just dont think it would really do me that much good, i mean sometimes when i let off the clutch my foot gets jammed between the clutch and that part right above, it sucks. i dont know if its just me not being acustomed with man trans or what.
