Front End Clicking ?
Hey guys, I just recently noticed that when I turn the stearing wheel I hear a clicking noise that seems to be coming from the front end. Its not a constant clicking, just a single click, one going right and one going left.I'm not sure if its in the steering or possibly the suspension. If you guys have any ideas, that would be great. I have an appointment to bring the car in on Thursday, but was wondering if it may be something simple or it would be great info, so that the shop doesn't say its something else...
By the way here is what i have
2003 Mustang Gt
Mods include K&N CAI and super 40 Flowmasters

RE: Front End Clicking ?
im not really sure what youre trying to say, is it on one side or both? but i had a similar clickin sound comin from my front left wheel, and it was a worn ball joint. do you havewanderingor poor handlingtoo? that could mean ball joint or a bad tie rod. check your tire for abnormal patterns if you do, for cupping or very heavy wear. is this even what your talking about? or am i going off on the wrong track?
Hope this helps

Check out this link. There is a TSB for a creeking sound that has something to do with the steering rack mounts. This guy did a write up on how to make it stop. I did this and mine stopped making that noise.
