Default patriot performance cams question

has anyone tried/ heard of the patriot performance cams , piston to valve clearance on them , valvetrain issues , do they need to be degreed , etc.?

the specs are
233/237 @ .050 Duration .545"/.550" Lift 113 LSA

i actually just installed these in a car at the shop... stock degree marks and no ptv contact.. they have a nice idle to them aswell.

All cams should be degreed in. There's always tolerances when machining the parts.

I agree, and by setting them up properly there is usually extra HP to be found.

What does "nice idle" mean? "cammy?" or "smooth"?

they have a real nice lope to them at idle. and as for gains i think it is gonna get dynoed and tuned today, so i will be sure to let you know how it does. But it does have a few extra things on it.
