ABS Problems

Ok, heres one for the smart guys.....
04 GT...
Everytime I am coming to a stop and about the time the car hits around 5-7 MPH the ABS system kicks in. No light comes on and the car acts pretty much normal except for the ABS.
I have done some research and went thru and checked all the wheel speed sensors for the right resistance and also cleaned and insured that they were installed right. (if you ever have to replaceone of the frontwheel speed sensors on an 04, I feel sorry for you.)
I have even cleaned and checked the Speedo sensor to ensure everything was ok and no metal chips on the sensor.
Well after working on it all day, I'm right where I started.......
Suggestions?

What exactly is the car doing? You said the ABS kicks on? How do you know? If it's working correctly you won't know it's doing anything so is the tires locking up or something?

Yourmay have to find someone with a scanner(snap brickon modis or equiv.) drive thevehicle and take a movieshot to find out what abs wheel speed sensors droppin out under light braking.A bad wheel (hub bearing ),can cause this(loose)..Make sure the Speed ring is not cracked, missing any teeth,etc.....I usually find this problem with a scanner.....

RE: ABS Problems

The only "damage" that I found during my inspection was to one of the speed rings had a really small dent in it. Think this may have been enough to cause this? The really great part is that it was on the rear. Looks like I get to pull an axle on Sat if thats what it is.
I had checked all the hubs for play, they didnt budge.
Well she goes to Ford today to get scanned, I'm sure it will cost me...............
