Watch out for Ford

Watch out for Ford
So i brought my 02 GT to Ford to get new U-Joints put in and i thought all was good. A week later i was driving down the highway and heard a loud gun shot like sound come from under my car and the shifter popped up and hit my hand bruising it. Smoke was all over so i put the clutch in and pulled to the side asap and when i got out of my car i saw a stream of transmission fluid running down the road. After everything of Ford blaming me saying I was racing, because I'm an 18 year old in a mustang. After bringing it to another tech. turned out it was actually their fault. They didn't instal the U-Joints correctly causing them to come apart and send my drive shaft into my transmission cracking the back end of the trany in two. Also the drive shaft put a whole in my floor board and bent the drive shaft. Just watch out who you bring your car too, some places let students do jobs they shouldn't be.

RE: Watch out for Ford
yeah be careful with ford dealerships. They for the most part hire retards to fix our cars.
Years ago I brought my ZX3 in to have a new clutch and 4.06 gears put in. After two weeks of excuses why it wasn't finished I finally walked 10 miles to the dealership to see what the hold up was. When I got their to my surprise, my cars front driver side had all kinds of damage.....the rim was messed up, brakes system was in shambles, and my fender well was cracked in half.
So I look for the manager and he says they were going to tell me. He said the tech took it out for a test drive and the axle fell apart and the whole front end fell apart at 50mph and he hit a curb.
Come to find out another tech told me the guy working on my car was busy on his cell phone and forgot to put any of the bolts back in. So when he went out nothing was holding it together so it just fell apart.
I flipped at the manager and threatened a law suit. Lets just say I paid nothing to have the car fixed, payed nothing for installing my gears and clutch, and I made them pay to have my car dyno tuned at Steeda (just put adjustable cam gears on then).
Long story short, DON'T TRUST THE DEALERSHIPS!!
Edit: Hint, hint to OP.......Not only should they fix it but you should be getting all kinds of free crap! First try to find a lawyer, if none work on contingency, your better off trying to get free stuff out of them. The courts usually side with big business anyway.
