Default Engine/Installation $3000

After looking around I found a place where I can get a PI 4.6 for $1,200 and the installation is almost $1,800.
Just wondering what everyone thinks? Good deal? or no deal at all?

Details on the engine...? Personally, $1,800 is a lot for labor. I'd do it for less than half.

shops around here would normally charge about 1000-1500 for a motor swap, a gt to gt swap isnt very difficult either.

I wonder more about the engine only being 1200 bucks. Any specs or details about the engine you can share?

from what I was told its a rebuilt PI 4.6 motor. So im assuming from one of the 99+ stangs. it comes with 6 month warranty i think.
and for those that asked im in orlando. $1800 does seem high though. I figured the engine would cost more.

why was the motor rebuilt? for what reason? you need to find that out as well.... if you were closer i could do the swap for you as well.... doesnt take much more than 12-13 hours to do the motor swap. depending on what you have such as a lift. with a lift i could have it done in 8 hours.
