Default Exhaust Question

I've got a Bassani Catback and a Mac O/R H on my 01 GT.
Don't get me wrong I like the loud sound, but, It seems to "pop" some from around 2300~3000.
I want to get rid of the O/R pipe and maybe put in a prochamber or catted h or x.
What mid pipe would give me the best sound without this "annoying rice burner straight pipe sound"?

The Hpipe is what is giving you the "pop" that youre talking about.
Just search around for some different x pipes, ive heard good things about pypes x pipes.

Prochamber would not give you that "pop" sound. But, be aware that your exhaust will be a TON quieter. Even O/R, Prochamber is a very tame midpipe. I love the tone and sound but it's way too quiet IMO.

Well as long as the prochamber is somewhat louder than the stock mid pipe i'm probably going to go with it.

Ive got a MAC X and it sounds great, I get compliments all the time.
It doesnt have the pop that youre talking about.

Can you get a vid/sound clip up with your car? Im considering anH pipe with my bassani mufflers. All of the sound clips I find are withX pipes, which I already have.
