Default Best Prices on Brakes?

I want to upgrade my 99 Gt brakes to Brembo rotors and built calipers. Where is the best place to buy the calipers and brakets and lines. Either sold as a kit or seperatly.
thanks

I have been looking for brakes also, have been shopping around for a while. I looked at Baer brakes, and decided that the kits for the front and back were too F***ing expansive. This is the cobra kit front and back for the best price around. They also do carry the Brembo rotors, and front brake kit.

http://www.stangsuspension.com/store...?idproduct=446 This is the kit I am going to put on my car here in the next month or so. Hope this helps

Thanks diver8374, I did not know, this would be such a hard subject to get info on. 42 hits, and really only one reply, thanks for your info.

I had the same problem when i posted about brakes also, so when i see someone else post about them i post what i know, good luck, and let me know what you decide to do, If you do the Cobra upgrade I would like to know how big a difference it is from the stock (I bet it will be a big diff.)

Hey guys I'm gonna also do a brake upgrade to my 97 Stang. Do you know or have the difference between the Cobra upgrade vs. the Baer Track kit. I see a lot of cars with one or the other, but what one has more stopping power? Thanks guys.

I went with the EBC set-up but these guys carry all popular brands at a good discount. Search their performance catalog for the brake items you are interested in: http://www.auto-parts-wholesale.com/...bc_brakes.html

Good luck with your ride!

I am not sure, but as best as i can tell the Baer brakes are going to bee a little better than the Cobra upgrade. The big difference is price. If you follow my link in my first post you can get everything you need to up-grade your brakes to the cobra for about $800 or so delivered. I have been trying to get prices on the baer kits and the prices are hard to come by, but what I have found is that the GT+1 (this is the kit I was looking at) kit for just the front of the car will run you anywhere from $1200-$1400 [], Then if you want to do the rear brakes it would be another $1000 or so. So in my opnion if money is not a object go with the Baer brakes, if you want the best for the least amount of money the Cobra kit is the way to go. I am going to be getting the cobra kit. Hope this helps

Yeah it does bro. Thanks a lot. I'll see how money is. If I can swing it I'm gonna try to go for the Baer because I drive hard.
