So I recently stripped a spark plug right out of my head on my 03 GT. I was wondering since I will already have it apart what would be the best route.Are the Police Interceptor heads better? Would they be worth it?Would a Mach 1 swap be possible and/or worth it? How much HP would a good port and polish job give me? Any other tips and ideas would be great! Thank you

The police interceptor 2v heads are identical.

The 4v swap is fairly involved, usually expensive, but it would make decent power. There is more to it than the heads though, you need the complete heads w/ cams, valvcovers, and all the hardware from the front of the engine.

If your talking about a whole engine swap ^^ scott is right, but it is most certainly gonna be expensive. If your talking about just the heads, your gonna need to fab up a way to mount it to your block as the 4v heads will not simply bolt on and work.

Thank you all so much! I certainly have a lo9t to think about...but it is starting to sound like I'm just gonna go with a good P/P job...What is the HP gain with a P/P?

not at all its a pushrod motor which is completely different from your overhead cam configuration.

How'd you strip a spark plug out of an '03 Head?

over torqued it is my only guess....dont 03 have 8 threads though isntead of 4?

Not sure...just dumped the clutch and heard a horrible noise...best we can think is a casting flaw
