Default autometer tach

I'm trying to put an autometer 5inch tach with a shift light in a 97 mustang gt anyone wanna help me out I don't know where I put the signal wire. anyone do this before? I'd really apreciate the help thanks

umm take the tach back in the box to the store where you bought it and get a raptor shift light. 5 inch tachs look like **** in our cars.

Its not my car itss for a friend and he really wants it in and I told him I'd take care of it so does anyone know how to put it in?

Tap into pin #48 then you have to buy a vtec sticker for the car and the tach will work perfect.

Wow, I haven't posted on this site in months, and nothing has changed. Someone asks for help and they get answers like that. It is pin 48 at the PCM (behind passenger-side kick-panel) and the wire is orange/white.

i found an orange wire with a white stripe before i tap it ur sure there is only one orange and white wire over there right?

ya i understand that but are you sure there is only one orange and white wire goin to the pcm theres about 1000 of them down there
