Default TICKING

ok this had me really worried all day yesterday and half of today. i noticed that my car had a loud tick sounded like it was coming from under the hood. well today i noticed that every time i push in the clutch the ticking stops, anybody have any clue why a ticking noise is coming from my clutch and why when i push it in it stops, please help its really loud and dont want more to go wrong in the long run.

could be your pilot bearing/throw out, I know mine started doing that around 60k miles, Its gotta be clutch related.

i jus had all that replaced like 4 months ago, the clutch, flywheel and throwout bearing. etc. that shouldnt be doing that already

I just changed my clutch last month and every once inwhile mine will do it as well. I think its beacuse of the dust created from the friction of the clutch when you push on the clutch it goes away.

i know but i put in a performance clutch and wish it wouldnt do that for the money i paid. but i see what your saying

When I put my Centerforce clutch in, I went through 3 TOB's from O'Reilly's that started making noise within a month. I bought a TOB from the Ford dealership and haven't had a problem yet and it's been over a year.
