What are your plans for the car and most importantly, what kind of tires/suspension are you going to be running?

On a street car, if you can hook up, go with a 3000-3300 stall. I just got my 4.10's in myself, and I want to stall it, but I have to first do some traction mods so I will be able to hook up. I'm going to go for a 3200 or so myself.

I dont think you will like anything higher than 3500 on the street . I got mine from PI & it was worth every penny . they are the best IMO . call them , tell them what you have& what youwant & they will hook you up . you will also need a trans cooler .

+1 for not going over 3500 for a street car, but I think at least a 3000. I hear many people say they wish they went higher, and I personally don't want to make that mistake. Around a 3000 would be good though.

What's your setup blstoff?

Build the converter according to your planned mods and order it at about 700 rpms below your peak tq rpm. P.I. is a reputable company as is www.bc-automotive.com and several others. The converter should be no less than 3500 for a N/A build, but for boosted cars can be anywhere from 3000-4000+ depending on rather its for a twinscrew, centri or turbo car. Dont settle for a 3000 stall just because everyone else has it, get one that makes best use or your trq curve...my 3600-3800 is perfect and IS NOT TOO MUCH for the strret/DD car. U will need DR's after and some suspension tweaks as well.
