Default RE: Clutch Install

The hardest part is realigning the tranny to the engine. I did a cobra motor swap and it went in like butter. I just did a swap on a 69 Vette and I swore and busted my knuckles for 6hours just to align the input shaft! Just make sure the alignment tool is in right and not wobbling all around!!! The rest is fairly easy and just put the two most outer bolts back in your starter, ohh and unhook your positive terminal first!Working on your back is prob. the hardest oart so if you could get even the dumbest of friends to give you the needed tools, that will save you plenty of time and burns on your shoulder blades from sliding in and out from under your car. The trans. bracket makes it easy for removal and installation. Leave the trans. hooked to the crossmember and just unbolt the two bolts of the crossmember!
