Default odd missfire

ok im really stumped here, about 3 days ago my car started to misfire bad, and i got a code saying cylinder 8 misfire, so i moved the coil over and pulled the plug to make sure it was fine and it was, i put the coil on the #2 cylinder. today the car started to misfire again but its not constant, maybe 1 out of every 3 traffic lights at idle it'll miss, and only anything over 30% throttle, or anytime under 2k rpm will it miss, normal cruising its fine, its really weird. Also the cel hasn't come back on to tell me what cylinder im missing on and ofcouse by the time i get home and get it in my driveway i cannot reproduce the miss. anyone have any ideas, i just got done fixing a coolant leak from the thermostat next but i do not think its the cam position or crank position sensors because its not constant but i could be wrong, anyone who can shine some light on this it would be much appreciated.

lots of people have been having problams like this lately. when mine started acting up i worked through everything and eventually realised the plug wire "boot" was cracked and was arching over to the block. replaced the wires and it was fine, but some other people have been having similar issues and say their wires are fine so do a little searching if yours dont have any problems.
