Default PI intake sensor

I knowthat you have to tap the new intake, but what sensor is that and if i waited will ne thing bad happen other than maybe an engine light?

Temp sensor. I drove without it for a few weeks before I got the thermostat housing tapped. Only thing I noticed was the A/C wasn't working.

it is what Mikebsdi said, its the Temp Sensor,

i drove my car without the tap in my intake manifold for like 30minutes... and all it does is if you have the senor plugged in but not into the intake manifold, you're fan will just stay on the entire time you're driving. (have to drive to the shop to pick up my drill bit / tap)
