Default 4.10's in 98 cobra???

i know this has been asked alot but i just dont want to end up regretting one or the other. Would 4.10's be too high to run in my 98 cobra? i was thinking about just getting 3.73's but people were telling me that it isnt worth it. I know people say one or the other, but i wanted to get a general opinon. thanks.

4.10's would work well in you 98 cobra because you can rev the motor to higher rpm's, ive seen people go as high as 4.30's with there older cobras

I'm not sure what you are trying to say mustang30240. Gears won't allow you to rev higher than red line.. (as you are implying, probably by lack of using better words). But, 4.10 gears in a Cobra would be great.

cool..allright thats what i think im going to do. i think he meant that since cobras redline alittle higher, i could benefit more from it. thats what i think he meant, could be wrong though. i am for sure going to get 4.10's, thanks for the input.

I had 4.10's in my 98 cobra and to tell you the truth, I regreted not going with 4.30's.

Thats just my opinion though.. Could of easily handled more gear.......

The Cobra redlines higher than the 2V in the GT. Thats what he's saying.
