What kind of gas millage can i expect with 3.55 gears 3.73 and 4.10 gears.

depends on how you drive. Typical around town driving you will get better gas mileage as you go up from stock to the 4.10's, better with 4.10's. Highway mileage will go down with the higher gears, 4.10's being the worst for mileage on the interstate.

Remember, what will happen is that instead of running 3rd in town, you will be running 4th, sor your rpm's will roughly stay the same, but with the additional torque hitting the pavement, it takes less gas to accelerate. That is how it works.

Very well stated. That's exactly how it works. Go with 4.10.

id go ford racing just cause you can trust em. but i still say 3.73's if you go on the interstate pretty often or even somewhat often. but if you wanna unleash the beast within go 4.10

I did'nt know what gear I had in my 99 cobra. So I put it up on the lift. Turned out to be a 4.10 gear in there. I bought it used so I didnt know what the guy before me had done. No wonder I'm shifting so quickly.
