Default will procharger fit?

im new to the mustang scene but would a procharger for a 2002 v-6 mustang fit a 98 cobra? i know the intakes are different but i can get the procharger for a good price.

it should as long as its CCW rotation. your going to need a different mounting bracket tho.

yea the head unit itself should but im not 100% sure superchargersonline.com has kits to mount them they just dont have the head unit i dont know if they sell one for the cobra but check the site out they have good deals

It depends on where the charger mounted on the v6. If it was mounted at the bottom of the engine it's not going to work because of how the procharger picks it's oil up. The pickup has to be clocked to match your mounting position and it will end up costing you as much as the kit costs to get it to fit. The bracket and pipeing is not going to match up either. A buddy of mine just pulled a D-1 procharger kit off his 97 cobra which will fit and he's trying to sell it. If you can find out if the charger is mounted in the same postion as the v6 and find the bracket separate for a good deal along with the proper piping it'll be worth it I guess.

The headunit will work its just the other supporting parts you'll have to worry about.

Yea you will have to up grade every thing like fuel pump injectors, and belts and ETC but Headunit should mount just get the rest of the kit!

Plus, being a 6 blower it might be something ghey like a 600b... I wouldn't be jumping on this unless its SUPER cheap. Say the headunit only for a few hundred bucks.

i have a question will the head unit of a vortech from a 96-98 gt work for a 01 gt if i just buy the head unit only and buy all the tubing and other stuff for the 01.
